Effectively manage the learning environment to prepare lesson plans, instruct students, evaluate and monitor students’ performance in order to advance student achievement. Understand and appreciate diversity. Work collaboratively with a team to plan instruction. Demonstrate commitment to continuous learning.

• Arizona Elementary Certificate with Music Approved Area OR Music K-12 Endorsement
• Arizona Secondary Certificate with Music K-12 Endorsement
• Arizona Arts Education - Music PreK-12 Certificate
• Current Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card

• Demonstrated success in engaging African American and Latino students
• Bilingual (Spanish) endorsement

Proof of immunity to rubeola (measles) and rubella (German measles), or proof of MMR immunization.

Location:

C.E. Rose K-8 - Irvington & 12th Ave Area
FTE: 1.0 – 7.5 hours per day

9.5 month; positions less than 30 hours per week are not eligible for district benefits.
Salary will be prorated if the start date is after the first day of the work calendar for the position.

Internal candidates will transfer at a rate commensurate with their bargaining unit language. Probationary Contracts will be issued for any contingent Certifications, Positions that are 0.6 FTE or less, and certified employees within their first three years with the District.
