Welcome to ASDB Internships 2026‑2027
We accept Interns, Practicum Students, and Student Teachers from accredited university programs only.
Internships are available in the following areas:
- American Sign Language Educational Interpreters
- Public Interpreters (Sign Language and Foreign Language)
- Student Teachers
- Educational Leadership Practicums
- Experience different work settings and explore various education fields related to our community.
- Opportunities to work with experienced staff in a campus‑based environment.
- Empower prospective staff to become part of ASDB's family.
- Get involved in planning work experiences where you can learn about what we do and our employer/employee relationship.
- ASL Educational Interpreter Intern
:
Assist other interpreters in creating accessibility for students in the classroom. - Public Interpreter Intern
:
Gain experience in public translation and communication, and learn how to professionally translate for different scenarios. - Student Teacher Intern
:
Assist teacher leaders in day‑to‑day classroom practices and learn fundamentals of teaching in a Deaf, Hard of Hearing, Blind, or Visually Impaired environment. - Educational Leadership Practicum
:
Enhance leadership skills with expert guidance in School Education Administration.
Interns must be enrolled in an accredited university program.
