Summary
Collaborates with District staff, parents and students to identify high risk students for future prevention services. May visit students and parents in the home to determine cause for absenteeism, academic or discipline problems. Monitors these students as they enter and go through school to determine impact of prevention activities.
Minimum Requirements- Valid Arizona Teaching Certificate
- Valid Arizona IVP fingerprint clearance card
- Five years teaching experience in any grade level.
- Verbal & Written communication skills in English and a demonstrated ability to read and comprehend written/graphic and oral instructions.
- Proof of immunity to rubeola (measles) and rubella (German measles), or proof of MMR immunization.
- Valid Driver's license (Arizona Driver’s License required within 30 days of hire)
- MVReport – showing no more than the allowable points against Driver’s License as described under Governing Board Policy: EEB-R-1
- Reliable mode of personal transportation with evidence of insurance compliance greater than or equal to the state required minimum for car insurance as described under Governing Board Policy: EEB-R-1
- Master’s Degree in Educational Administration, Curriculum & Instruction or related field
- Five years teaching experience in the appropriate grade level for the position being filled
- Demonstrated success in engaging African American and Latino students
- Bilingual (Spanish) Endorsement

Location:
Wright Elementary School - Speedway & Columbus Area
FTE: 1.0 FTE - 7.5 hours per day
Work Calendar: 9.5 month
Positions less than 30 hours per week are not eligible for district benefits.
Salary will be prorated if the start date is after the first day of the work calendar for the position.
