Salary Range: $22.50 – $27.50 Hourly

Schedule:

Summer – Monday to Friday, full‑time day camps

Compensation:
Instructors are compensated at their full hourly rate for time spent teaching, setting up/breaking down from class, and driving to/from class.

• Mileage reimbursement at $.40 per mile when transporting materials
• Allowance for electronics, internet, and kit storage
• Paid sick and safe leave
• 401(k) after 3 months of hire
• Health care benefits only available to employees who average 30 or more hours per week

• Serves as a representative of Play‑Well in a positive and professional manner
• Completes all training programs as required by the Area Manager
• Understands the curriculum and concepts thoroughly to provide value to participants with diverse abilities and interests
• Manages each class session, ensuring the children are safe, engaged, and having fun
• Communicates with parents and clients in a knowledgeable, respectful and tactful manner to address questions or concerns
• Adheres to all Play‑Well and facility safety procedures for supervision and release of children
• Care, safekeeping, and upkeep of assigned LEGO teaching kit(s)
• Responds quickly to communications from management, whether by phone, text, email or mail Regularly communicates with Area Manager with questions, concerns and updates

• Teaching/Instruction experience is preferred
  
  Reliable transportation a must; secure location to store teaching materials
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs to store and transport materials; bending, stooping and crawling with children during class instruction
• Must pass all background checks as a condition of employment
