Assistant Director, Professional Development
The Eller College of Management’s Undergraduate Programs Office seeks a professional with effective leadership and communication skills to manage a team of career coaches and lead professional development initiatives that support student career outcomes.
Responsibilities- Oversee day‑to‑day delivery of career development programs including workshops, career education, and student‑facing services.
- Provide individual and group advising to students regarding experiential learning, internship placement, and career readiness.
- Facilitate placement of students in positions related to their academic major and promote experiential learning postings.
- Conduct outreach to current and prospective students to promote benefits of experiential learning.
- Guide students with resume and cover letter critiques and job‑search strategies.
- Lead training and professional development for the career coaching team.
- Collaborate with academic departments, employers, and internal stakeholders to market experiential learning and support program objectives.
- Oversee collection, maintenance, and analysis of student career data and produce reporting on program effectiveness.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent advanced learning attained through professional level experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of related work experience or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- Master’s degree or equivalent advanced learning.
- Relevant experience providing career coaching to business students.
- Familiarity with eSMS and Handshake.
Salary: $65,687 – $85,393 (annual). Full‑time, FTE 1.0. Benefits eligible:

Full time, 40 hours per week, fiscal work calendar. FLSA:
Exempt. Visa sponsorship not available. The position requires in-person work with flexible options. Some evening and weekend hours required.
