Mandatory Qualifications
- Math Endorsement K‑8
- Bilingual (Spanish) endorsement
Contributes to the acceleration of our striving mathematicians. Works extensively with students to help improve specific mathematical skills. Consults frequently with classroom teachers to design and plan interventions. Conducts assessments to identify students eligible for intervention services. Diagnoses math strengths and weaknesses and matches these skills with appropriate techniques and materials to promote interest in math concepts.
Minimum Requirements- Arizona Elementary Certificate K‑8 with Middle Grades Math Approved Area 6‑8 or Math Endorsement K‑8 OR Arizona Secondary Certificate 6‑12 with Math or Middle Grades Math Approved Area 6‑8 or Math Endorsement K‑8
- Current Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
- Proof of immunity to rubeola (measles) and rubella (German measles), or proof of MMR immunization
- Math Endorsement K‑8
- Demonstrated success in engaging African American and Latino students
- Bilingual (Spanish) endorsement

Valencia Middle School - Irvington & Camino De Oeste Area
FTE : 1.0 – 7.5 hours per day
Work Calendar: 9.5 month
Positions less than 30 hours per week are not eligible for district benefits.
Salary will be prorated if the start date is after the first day of the work calendar for the position.
