Responsible for challenging all students to achieve their personal best through rigorous, engaging, innovative progress that develops skills and knowledge for lifelong learning and responsible citizenship. Implements the district philosophy of education and instructional goals, guides learning, sets objectives, assesses students, evaluates performance, provides progress reports, maintains records, counsels, participates in meetings, and assists in selecting instructional materials. Minimum 40 hours per week.
Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Secondary Education, Mathematics, or a related Science field.
- Secondary Teaching Certificate, Arizona Department of Education – Math Certification.
- Knowledge of Teaching Mathematics & Science, Educational Psychology of Learning & Development, School Organization & Technology of Teaching, and Philosophical Basis of Education.
Rate of Pay: $64,920 per year.
