On-Call Instructor (Physician Assistant Program) (Multiple Positions)
Location Tucson Campus, Tucson, AZ USA
The University of Arizona Physician Assistant Program is seeking local clinicians (PA, MD, DO, NP) to serve as on-call instructors. This as-needed role supports core faculty and the instructional needs of the program. On-call instructors may be asked to lecture in their areas of expertise, facilitate laboratory sessions, assist with small-group activities, or provide other instructional support as needed. Hours and days will vary based on program needs and instructor availability.
Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
Duties & Responsibilities- Teach content in the curriculum and/or assist core faculty during lab experiences.
- Master's degree in a related field; or
- Bachelor's degree in a related field and ten (10) years of progressively responsible professional experience directly related to the position.
- Licensed or eligible to practice in the state of Arizona.
- Minimum of 2 years patient care experience in a certified position.
- Experienced clinician (PA/MD/DO/NP) who is enthusiastic about sharing their expertise with PA students.
- Experience in teaching preferred.
