Culinary Arts Assistant
Term of employment:
Part-time as needed/Up to 19.5 hours per week/Not benefits eligible Salary range: $15.45 - $16.50/Per hour DOE
Hours:
Work hours may include some evenings
Essential duties and responsibilities:
The list of essential functions is not exhaustive and may be supplemented. Supervises high school students enrolled in the Culinary Arts classes Offers suggestions in the planning and writing of lesson plans to the teacher Organizes facilities, including equipment and supplies, and prepares materials for daily activities Implements lesson plans as directed by the teacher Provides information to parents regarding classroom procedures, activities, and curriculum Utilizes and implements classroom management techniques to maintain organization, student safety and a productive learning environment at all times Maintains confidentiality of student information Performs other related duties as assigned

Must be at least 18 years old High School Diploma or GED and;
An Associate's Degree or higher or;
Passing score on a skills assessment Minimum one year of experience working with high school students in a formal school setting Serv Safe Certificate or be able to obtain one Knowledge in the use of Microsoft Office Suite and Google Apps Organized and able to perform duties in a timely and efficient manner Proof of MMR immunization required unless born prior to January 1, 1957 Valid IVP fingerprint clearance card or be able to obtain one Negative TB test within the last year Valid Arizona Drivers License Knowledge, skills, and abilities:
Ability to communicate effectively Ability to work well independently or in a group setting Ability to operate a high volume copy machine and various office equipment Utilizes sound judgement and decision-making skills Ability to multi-task Submit the following documents:
