• Arizona Secondary Certificate with Drama/Theatre approved area OR
• Arizona Arts Education, Certificate Dramatic Arts PreK-12 OR
• Arizona Elementary, Secondary, or Special Education Certificate:
  Dramatic Arts, PreK-12 Endorsement
• Current Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card

• Proof of immunity to rubeola (measles) and rubella (German measles), or proof of MMR immunization

• Demonstrated success in engaging African American and Latino students
• Bilingual (Spanish) endorsement

• Prepare lesson plans and instruct students in accordance with established curriculum and student needs.
• Assess student needs and performance; develop, implement, and evaluate daily lesson plans with appropriate activities and materials; modify instruction to meet individual needs.
• Plan, organize, and display classroom materials appropriate to curricular activities.
• Apply classroom management techniques to maintain organization, order, safety, and a productive learning environment.
• Plan and implement instructional techniques to encourage and motivate students; evaluate student performance and communicate progress to parents.
• Collaborate with instructional teams and specialists as needed to support student learning.
• Monitor behavior and adapt strategies; inform site administrator of special needs or concerns.
• Supervise classroom staff as assigned; may monitor teacher assistants and volunteers.
• Adhere to all laws, district policies, and regulations; perform other duties as assigned.

• Indoor classroom environment; outdoor exposure in all weather conditions; playground environment.
• Exposure to noise, dust, gas, and fumes; contact with the public, coworkers, children, and parents.
• Work involves sitting for extended periods and occasional movement; vision and verbal communication required.
