HS Music Teacher (Part Time). Effective for the  school year.

Location:

Santa Rita High School. 0.6 – 4.5 hours per day; 9.5 month work calendar. Salary: $30,840 - $35,340 per year.

• Effectively manage the learning environment to prepare lesson plans, instruct students, evaluate and monitor student performance to advance achievement.
• Understand and appreciate diversity; work collaboratively with a team to plan instruction; demonstrate commitment to continuous learning.
• Plan, organize, and display classroom materials appropriate to curricular activities; implement classroom management techniques to maintain an orderly, safe, and productive learning environment.
• Develop and implement daily lesson plans, assess and adapt instruction to meet individual student needs; communicate student progress to parents/guardians.
• Participate as part of an instructional team to promote learning activities aligned with district and school objectives; collaborate with specialists as needed.
• Monitor student behavior and respond to special needs; adhere to all laws, policies, and regulations; perform duties as assigned.

• Arizona Secondary Certificate with Music Approved Area or Music K-12 Endorsement OR Arizona Subject Matter Expert Certificate 6-12 with Music Approved Area OR Arizona Arts Education - Music PreK-12 Certificate
• Current Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card

• Proof of immunity to rubeola (measles) and rubella (German measles), or proof of MMR immunization

• Demonstrated success in engaging African American and Latino students
• Bilingual (Spanish) endorsement

• FTE: 0.6 - 4.5 hours per day
• Work Calendar: 9.5 month
• Salary will be prorated if the start date is after the first day of the work calendar for the position.
• Positions less than 30 hours per week are not eligible for district benefits.
