Summary
Coordinates the activities and functions of designated programs. Analyzes, evaluates and ensures that the goals and objectives for the program are accomplished according to established priorities, time and funding limitations or other specifications. The Program Coordinator for Student Relations serves as a leader in character education. This position will manage, and implement the strategic program plans for the district’s behavior management systems and curriculum, including PBIS, district wide behavior management curriculum, and Professional development district wide.
The Program Coordinator is responsible for collaborating with internal and external partners to increase community awareness, self-sufficiency, and access to services and other resources among diverse populations.

Minimum Requirements
- Associate’s Degree AND Four years of experience administering or coordinating programs. OR Bachelor’s Degree AND Two years of experience administering or coordinating programs. OR Six years of progressive experience administering or coordinating programs.
- One year of supervisory experience.
- Knowledge and ability to use word processing, database, and spreadsheet programs.
- Knowledge of federal and state legislative requirements related to specific program. Verbal & written communication skills in English and a demonstrated ability to read and comprehend written/graphic and oral instructions.
Some positions within this classification may require some type of certification.
Requirements Prior To Start Date- FBI fingerprint background check Proof of immunity to rubeola (measles) and rubella (German measles), or proof of MMR immunization.
- Master’s Degree.

FTE : 1.0 - 8 hours per day
Work Calendar: 12 month
Positions less than 30 hours per week are not eligible for district benefits.
Salary will be prorated if the start date is after the first day of the work calendar for the position.
Internal candidates will transfer at a rate commensurate with their bargaining unit language.
