Position: Early Childhood Teacher....Mentorship Opportunity

About This Role

Little Love's is seeking an Early Childhood Teacher to join our growing team. This is a unique mentorship opportunity for someone who loves working with young children and wants to build a successful career in early childhood education. This is a growth position. No previous employment in childcare is required. We believe great teachers come from many different backgrounds. If you have a heart for children, a strong work ethic, and a desire to learn, we will provide the training, coaching, and support to help you become an outstanding early childhood educator.

  • Working toward a degree in education or a related field.
  • Recently graduated and looking for classroom experience.

You will work alongside experienced educators in a supportive, family-oriented environment where children are known, valued, and encouraged to reach their full potential. Our classrooms emphasize strong relationships, individualized attention, academic readiness, and character development.

You will be mentored by an educator with more than 33 years of experience in elementary and early childhood education. Our goal is to invest in the right person by providing the knowledge, confidence, and practical experience needed to build a rewarding career in education.

What You’ll Do
  • Provide a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment for young children.
  • Build positive relationships with children and their families.
  • Support children's social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development.
  • Assist with planning and implementing age-appropriate learning activities.
  • Supervise children during indoor play, outdoor play, meals, rest time, and transitions.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment.
  • Observe and document children's progress.
  • Communicate professionally with families and coworkers.
  • Work collaboratively with the Director and teaching team.
  • Follow all Arizona licensing, health, and safety requirements.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Genuine love for working with young children.
  • Professional, dependable, and punctual.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
  • Ability to accept coaching and feedback.
  • Ability to pass all required background checks.
  • Ability to meet Arizona requirements for employment in a licensed childcare center.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and actively participate in classroom and outdoor activities.
Nice To Haves
  • Experience caring for children through babysitting, nannying, volunteering, church programs, coaching, or similar activities.
  • Coursework in education, child development, psychology, or a related field.
  • Currently pursuing a college degree.
  • CPR and First Aid certification.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish).
