The Department of Educational Psychology at the University of Arizona is seeking an accomplished educator to join our Educational Psychology faculty for the  academic year. This will be a non-tenure-track, Limited Term Adjunct Instructor position to provide part-time instruction during our Fall semester.

Duties & Responsibilities

Instruct undergraduate students in Evolution and Human Development (EDP 200). Grade projects and exams. Work collaboratively with Educational Psychology faculty. Perform other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Demonstrated expertise in both theoretical and applied areas of Educational Psychology. Knowledge of and ability to implement effective and engaging instructional strategies. Ability to engage in reflective practice and work effectively with a variety of students in higher education. Ability and willingness to participate in professional development and preparation that strengthens instructional knowledge and skills. Effective interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively.

Minimum Qualifications

Doctoral degree in Educational Psychology or a related discipline. Experience working in Educational Psychology or similar setting. Minimum of three (3) years of demonstrated college-level teaching experience.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience teaching at the graduate level. Experience using online learning platforms such as D2L, Zoom, and recording tools. Experience working with individuals from varied educational and linguistic backgrounds. Experience in course and curriculum development related to instructional content.
