Job Summary

The ROSE Team is looking for a Special Education Teacher.

Salary $55,000

Location

Pima Rose Academy, 1690 W. Irvington Rd.

Essential Job Functions

• Implement collaboratively the ROSE SPED Consult Model.
• Support learning activities of SPED students toward the attainment of educational, district, school course, and Model for Instructional Accountability (MIA) goals.
• Document, monitor and report on the implementation of special education services.
• Creating IEPs, three-year evaluations, quarterly progress reports, and manifestation determinations as needed.
• Support the implementation and success of the Rose Signature Program.
• Implement Rose Pedagogy.
• Contribute to team efforts to meet Model of Instructional Accountability goals.
• Implement collaboratively the Student Behavior Management System.
• Conduct data-driven instructional planning.
• Implement blended delivery model of instruction.
• Contribute to the ROSE Professional Learning Community.

Education Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree required
• SPED Certification or endorsement required
• In lieu of certification or endorsement, we will consider candidates who already possess a teaching certificate or have 3 years of teaching experience.
• IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card

Experience Requirements

• Paraprofessional experience preferred
• Quick learner
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Confident and competent in technology
