SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and passionate Instructional Specialist to join our team at Tully Elementary School. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in enhancing educational practices and supporting teachers in their instructional methods to ensure all students achieve academic success. This full-time position requires a collaborative individual who is committed to fostering a positive learning environment and is equipped to implement effective teaching strategies.
Responsibilities- Collaborate with teachers to develop and implement effective instructional strategies and curriculum enhancements.
- Provide ongoing professional development and training for educators to improve instructional practices and student engagement.
- Analyze student performance data to identify areas for improvement and develop targeted interventions.
- Support the implementation of state and district educational initiatives and standards.
- Facilitate the integration of technology into the classroom to enhance learning experiences.
- Assist in the development of instructional materials and resources that align with curriculum goals.
- Observe classroom instruction and provide constructive feedback to teachers to promote best practices.
- Act as a resource for teachers in the selection and use of instructional materials and assessments.
- Engage with parents and the community to promote understanding and support of educational programs.
- Stay current with educational research and trends to inform instructional practices.
- High School Diploma or G.E.D.
- Two (2) years of experience with youth
- Associate’s (or higher) degree or Completion of an AZ Department of Education-approved Academic Assessment Test OR 60 Semester-Hour credits at an institute of higher learning (Copy of diploma, transcripts or test results must be submitted at time of hire).
- Verbal & written communication skills in English and a demonstrated ability to read and comprehend written/graphic and oral instructions.

Requirements Prior To Start Date- FBI fingerprint background check.
- Proof of immunity to rubeola (measles) and rubella (German measles), or proof of MMR immunization.
- Experience as a teacher aide.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish

Work Calendar: 9.5 month
Positions less than 30 hours per week are not eligible for district benefits.
Internal candidates will transfer at a rate commensurate with their bargaining unit language.
