Special Education Teacher

RCM Healthcare Services seeks a compassionate Special Education Teacher (PreK-6) to support students with diverse learning needs in partnered school settings. In this role, you will design and deliver individualized instruction, develop and manage IEPs, and collaborate closely with families, therapists, and school teams. You'll employ evidence-based strategies, progress monitoring, and positive behavior supports. Responsibilities

• Provide individualized and small-group special education instruction to Pre
• K-6 students in inclusive and self-contained settings
• Develop, implement, and regularly update IEPs in collaboration with families and multidisciplinary teams
• Conduct ongoing assessments to monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies and goals
• Adapt curriculum, materials, and activities to meet diverse learning, behavioral, and sensory needs
• Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and school staff to support student success
• Maintain accurate documentation, progress notes, and compliance with IDEA and state special education regulations
• Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding student goals, progress, and support strategies
• Implement positive behavior supports and classroom management aligned with student behavior plans
• Participate in IEP meetings, professional development, and school-wide initiatives
• Coordinate with RCM Healthcare Services and the host school to ensure high-quality placement and professional standards
