Program Highlights:
The Department of Immunobiology is seeking applications for a Student Services Administrative Professional III (Program Coordinator, Lead) to support student success and program development for our Immunobiology (IMB) programs. This position will be responsible for academic advising, programming, scheduling, admissions/enrollment management, and general support of the department programs in IMB. The individual will assist in the maintenance and growth of the IMB Certificate program, IMB Master's online program, GPMM PhD program, and IMB Global International Program.

The individual will manage student plans of study and petitions, ensure milestones are met and documented, advise on degree requirements, facilitate student/faculty advisor relationships, and work with the graduate studies committee to establish program processes that align with IMB and the Graduate College. This individual will work closely with the Educational Leader and Graduate Program Director.

Oversee students in the IMB Graduate Programs, working alongside the Educational Leader and Director of the programs providing program support
  • Serves as primary contact for graduate admission and recruitment.
  • Collaborate with Educational Leader and Director to develop promotional materials and websites for the graduate programs.
  • Facilitate external awards for scholarships and stipends.
  • Plan and organize graduate program events including recruitment, new student orientation, open house sessions and workshop blitzes.
  • Assist students and faculty advisors with Grad Path forms to create a plan of study for Graduate Certificate, Master's and PhD students.
  • Collaborate with faculty and staff to provide curriculum updates, new course proposals, additions/modifications and new programs planned to curricular affairs for graduate programs.
  • Ensure compliance with accreditation standards, academic policies, and institutional requirements.
Grad Students (all related tasks):
  • Disburse Awards (stipends, tuition & fees) to students.
  • Acting Liaison with Graduate College.
  • Schedule one-on-one meeting with graduations students, reviewing student assessment and milestone tracking.
  • Participate in the Commencement committee, planning convocation, preparing the booklet and attending convocation.
  • Assist faculty with class tasks/surveys/attendance.
  • Attend GPMM Coordinator meetings.
Training Grant (T32):
  • On board awarded trainees into the T32 training program, preparing the Statement of Appointment and monitoring the students progress.
  • Plan and attend data blitz workshop, working with other T32 Program Coordinators across campus.
  • Prepare and submit annual progress report.
  • Process awards (stipends, tuition and fees) for trainees.
  • Solicit students to apply for upcoming project year.
Course/Room Scheduling:
  • Prepare and distribute Teacher Course Evaluations.
  • Provide grading support to teaching faculty.
  • Develop course listings.
  • Process transactions to add/change/drop students.
  • Reserve classrooms for IMB courses.
  • Participate in course catalog maintenance.
ABBS (Arizona Biological & Biomedical Sciences):
