Grade 6 Class Teacher for the School Year
Tucson Waldorf School (TWS) is excited to invite passionate and dedicated educators to join our faculty as Grade 6 Class Teacher for the school year, and ideally continue through 8th grade with the class. We are seeking Waldorf-certified teachers or those nearing completion of an accredited Waldorf teacher training program.
About Tucson Waldorf School
Established in 1993, TWS is an independent Waldorf school serving families from Early Childhood through Grade 8. Our comprehensive programs include parent-child classes, nursery, kindergarten, and grades one through eight.
As Arizona’s only full member of both AWSNA (Association of Waldorf Schools of North America) and WECAN (Waldorf Early Childhood Association of North America), we take pride in providing an education that nurtures the whole child.
Located on a beautiful 10-acre campus in the foothills of the Santa Catalina Mountains, our school provides a stunning environment rich with the natural beauty and wildlife of the Sonoran Desert. - Salary Range
: $43,000-$46,000, commensurate with experience and education. - Additional Compensation
:
Annual tenure credits and cost-of-living adjustments. - Benefits
: - Health insurance: 90% of the premium covered for employees, 70% for family members.
