Field Service Supervisor

Raytheon is seeking a Field Service Supervisor to join our Field Engineering team. In this dual role you will lead and manage a team of deployed Field Service Representatives (FSRs) in an OCONUS (Outside Continental United States) environment. You will oversee daily operations, ensure program compliance, and act as the primary point of contact for both internal management and our government customer.

This onsite position is in McKinney, TX or Tucson, AZ, participating in offsite locations. Relocation assistance is not available. This position is on a 6-month CONUS / 6-month OCONUS schedule. When CONUS, you will be participating in test events, refresher training. You will also be responsible for your team members, CONUS and OCONUS.

Employment is contingent upon meeting all medical requirements for overseas assignments including comprehensive post-offer medical examination. Special Work Conditions Must be willing and able to travel to environments that may include harsh living conditions (extreme heat and cold, living conditions, etc.) and/or hostile work environment with little notification.

What You Will Do

  • Team Leadership & Operational Oversight:
    Supervise and guide daily activities of deployed FSRs to ensure steady workflow, productivity, and resolution of technical and operational challenges. Provide input to hiring, firing, promotion, performance, and rewards decisions for direct reports.
  • Planning & Compliance:
    Set and execute daily operational goals, review FSR performance for accuracy and adherence to program requirements and ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
  • Technical & Customer Support:
    Troubleshoot technical issues, provide solutions, and act as the on-site representative to the customer, addressing needs and requests promptly.
  • Reporting & Communication:
    Deliver daily equipment and personnel status reports to internal management and government customers and represent the team in meetings when required.
  • Document & Property Management:
    Review and archive work orders and trouble tickets, ensure adherence to program guidelines for maintenance and inventory, and hold employees accountable for proper care of government and program property.
  • Support Deployment Coordination:
    Assist with efficient employee entry and exit logistics for the operations theater.

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 5+ years prior relevant experience, or an Advance Degree in a related field and a minimum of 3+ years' experience.
  • Proven experience in managing teams in a field engineering or technical environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to resolve technical and operational challenges.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with internal teams, external customers, and Field Engineering leadership.
  • Demonstrated ability to plan, organize, and oversee multiple responsibilities in a dynamic and potentially high-stress environment.
  • Familiarity with government programs, compliance requirements, and OCONUS operations.
  • Experience coordinating logistics and travel in OCONUS environments.
  • Knowledge of government reporting and compliance processes.
  • Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required prior to start date.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Additional years of experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Proven experience in coordinating logistics and travel in OCONUS (Outside Continental United States) environments.
  • Strong knowledge of government reporting requirements and compliance processes.
  • Proficiency in using the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and other relevant computer applications.
  • Demonstrated ability to take initiative, manage time effectively, and align priorities to meet operational goals.
  • Exceptional technical writing abilities and strong oral communication skills to convey information clearly and effectively.
  • Knowledge and understanding of procedures for handling and safeguarding sensitive information.
