Raytheon is inviting applications for a Senior Electrical eCAD/Printed Wiring Board Design Engineer for a fully onsite position in Tucson, AZ. The role requires U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance.

- Design printed circuit boards (PCBs) from concept to manufacturing, including rigid, flex, and rigid‑flex assemblies.
- Create circuit card assembly (CCA) and schematic drawings for suppliers.
- Perform schematic capture, component placement, routing, and Gerber/ODB++ file creation.
- Use design tools such as Siemens Xpedition Enterprise and Blue Print-PCB.
- Prepare full design reviews, redesigns, changes, and process improvement projects.
- Collaborate daily with electrical, mechanical, components, test, and producibility engineers to capture cost, cycle time, and producibility requirements.
- Bachelor’s degree in STEM.
- Minimum of five (5) years of electrical engineering design experience.
- Experience with PCB or CCA manufacturing principles that affect circuitry and component layout.
- Experience with layout of rigid, flex, or rigid‑flex boards.
- U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain a government‑issued security clearance.
- Experience with circuit card assembly (CCA).
- Technical PCB design skills using Siemens design toolset, especially Xpedition Layout.
- Experience with Blue Print to create complex PCB and CCA drawings.
- Expertise in schematic capture, placement, routing, auto‑router, constraint manager, and library tools.
- Export of manufacturing data in Gerber and ODB++ formats.
- Use of Valor NPI, DFM rule sets, or other design rule checking software.
- Experience with RF circuitry, board layout, and filter knowledge.
