The Test Equipment Engineering (TEE) Directorate is a multidisciplinary organization responsible for developing test solutions for all Raytheon products. Our engineers are responsible for all elements of the development lifecycle for test. We design with the latest technology and integrate state-of-the-art test solutions with advanced engineering systems. Typical work involves designing interface assemblies, selecting and integrating test instruments and environments, and developing a test system for Raytheon products.

These activities may be performed for both lab engineering and factory production test systems. The candidate will contribute to all stages of test product development and will help maintain technical, cost and schedule aspects of assigned projects. They will act, either as part of a team or independently, to uncover and resolve issues in the development and implementation of test products.

What You Will Do
  • Design, development, and integration of Raytheon test products within Test Equipment Engineering in multidiscipline engineering teams
  • Develop engineering and production test systems, test interface adapters, cabling, technical drawing creation, schematic creation, circuit design and analysis
  • Contribute to the completion of all stages of test product development, and manage technical, cost and schedule aspects of assigned projects
  • Act, either as part of the team or independently, to uncover and resolve issues in the development and implementation of test products
Qualifications You Must Have
  • Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) with five or more years of relevant experience OR Advanced degree with three or more years of relevant experience
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
  • Experience with electrical engineering design including troubleshooting, analysis, and test
  • Experience with electrical design tools such as Altium, DX Designer, Mentor Capital, Creo Schematic
  • Experience with test equipment including oscilloscopes, DMMs, Network Analyzers, Power Meters
  • Experience using schematic capture tools and interpreting schematics
Qualifications We Prefer
  • Master of Science degree in STEM. ABET accreditation is preferred but not required
