We are seeking an experienced Quality/Test Engineer III to join our machine systems testing and validation team. This is a hands‑on engineering role involving planning, executing, and analyzing complex test activities for heavy‑equipment cooling and machine systems. The position offers exposure to cross‑functional engineering teams, advanced testing environments, and opportunities to develop deep technical expertise.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, set up, execute, and document product and system tests.
  • Develop sampling procedures, data recording methods, and forms for quality evaluation.
  • Analyze test results and prepare reports with recommendations for design and process improvements.
  • Evaluate precision and accuracy of production and testing equipment.
  • Support instrumentation setup using thermocouples, pressure transducers, flow meters, and other sensors.
  • Collaborate closely with Design Engineers, Machine Engineers, Cooling Engineers, and Validation Engineers.
  • Support root‑cause investigations and corrective action implementation.
  • Participate in developing and maintaining quality standards and reliability data.
  • Provide occasional guidance or mentorship to junior team members as needed.
Typical Day
  • Coordinate machine availability and prepare instrumentation setups.
  • Execute tests in bays and outdoor environments; may work directly with machine operators.
  • Attend meetings with design teams (primarily virtual).
  • Troubleshoot data acquisition setups and resolve on‑site issues.
  • Analyze data and communicate findings to product design teams.
  • Highly collaborative, hands‑on, and test‑focused environment.
  • Mix of on‑site lab work, outdoor testing, and office‑based data analysis.
  • Flexible work hours depending on test schedules.
  • Physical activity required (climbing machines, handling tools, etc.).
Required Qualifications
  • 5–7 years of relevant engineering experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Aerospace, or related), including coursework in Thermodynamics and Fluid Dynamics
    .
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and data reports.
  • Experience using instrumentation such as:
  • Thermocouples
  • Pressure transducers
  • Flow meters
  • Strong communication skills, initiative, and teamwork mindset.
  • Comfortable performing physical work in test environments.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Background in cooling systems testing or machine validation engineering.
  • Experience with CAD and engineering data tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to independently manage test projects.
