Position DetailsJob Type: Full‑Time | Contract
Location: Tucson, AZ
Shift: Any Shift
Pay Rate: $35–$40 per hour
As an Avionics/Electronics Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring aircraft systems meet strict safety, quality, and performance standards.
Your responsibilities will include:
Troubleshooting, repairing, inspecting, modifying, and servicing aircraft avionics, electrical, and electronic systems
Performing and documenting maintenance in accordance with manuals and regulatory requirements
Adhering to general work requirements in factory, shop, and hangar environments
Complying with environmental health and safety policies and participating in 5‑S activities
Operating ground support equipment as required
Assisting with mechanical and electrical removals and installations
Supporting maintenance activities at off‑site locations as needed
Collaborating with other maintenance disciplines to ensure efficient aircraft servicing
This role requires technical precision, safety awareness, and the ability to perform in both hangar and outdoor environments.
What You BringRequired Qualifications
Avionics/Electrical Aircraft Technical School certification or equivalent experience
0–2 years of avionics work experience or substantiated equivalent
Ability to read and interpret electrical engineering drawings
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Basic PC proficiency
Ownership of a basic set of hand tools with demonstrated inventory control
Ability to obtain Ground Support Equipment qualifications
Ability to work unscheduled overtime, holidays, and in seasonal/inclement weather
Ability to obtain a Security Identification Display Area (SIDA) badge (if applicable)
A Certification (if required by customer)
A Certification, P Certification, or A&P Certificate
GROL (General Radiotelephone Operator License) or AET (Aircraft Electronics Technician) Certificate
Experience on corporate or commercial aircraft
Familiarity with aircraft maintenance best practices

Pay Details:$35.00 to $40.00 per hour
