We are seeking a Lab Manager Support Engineer to manage and implement engineering lab strategic projects and day‑to‑day administrative functions within multiple engineering labs, focusing on safety, security, and compliance using established doctrine and governance.

• Lab Operating Procedure (LOP) Management; provide direction for lab users on established policies.
• Management, coordination and implementation of Environment Health Safety and Sustainment. Property & Metrology Management.
• Perform cost analysis, ensure task completion within approved budgets.
• Provide process support to Supply Chain Management (SCM).
• Oversee audit/assessment preparation. Oversee Engineering Lab Objective Evaluation and Voluntary Protection Program; develop corrective action plans and assist in the development of long‑range objectives, including engineering customer goals.
• Safeguard classified/proprietary material, hardware, and documentation, utilizing Defense material/property under Export Administration Regulations.
• Develop and implement communication plans, providing consulting support to functional and engineering customer management.
• Work to influence stakeholders within and outside responsible area at an operational level regarding policies, practices, and procedures.
• Work autonomously with limited oversight; provide professional input, guidance, and problem solving.
• Physical exertion required while standing, sitting, or walking, working outside.
• Local travel in the general area required, with occasional travel outside the local area.

• University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience.
• Experience in an engineering lab environment area such as safety, security, compliance and/or property management.
• Experience with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).

• Strong mechanical and/or electrical/electronic skills.
• Experience with OSHA/NFPA industrial policies and regulations.
• Experience working directly with engineers, technicians and leadership in an engineering lab environment in the areas of safety, security, compliance and property management.
• Experience with EHS, NISPOM, JAFAN and Foreign Object Elimination.
• Ability to build positive, lasting relationships with customers.

• Salary Range: 107,500 USD – 204,500 USD.
