Job SummaryThe Systems Engineering and Test Center's Life Cycle Engineering Directorate is responsible for ensuring our products are Safe, Reliable, Maintainable and delivered on time. Life Cycle Engineering supports engineering, our program offices and our customers across the product life cycle from conception to deactivation, with a focus on product support, including Reliability, System Safety and Supportability. We are seeking a Principal Logistics Support Specialist to join our AMRAAM team located in Tucson, AZ.
You will be part of the Systems Engineering and Test Center, supporting products from design through validation, integration, and long-term sustainment.
- Managing, reporting and consolidating various data points to track trends that help inform leadership of Sustainment activity.
- Presenting and participating in Program Reviews, external customer meetings and team status meetings.
- Utilizing analytical skillsets to review generated material, determine required subject matter expert inputs, and interpret engineering technical data.
- Ensuring costs are within budget and schedule.
- Fulfilling Statement of Work Requirements with baseline plan and recovery approaches.
- Generating and refining scope of work to subcontractors.
- Preparing and submitting Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) as required.
- Risk and Opportunity analysis and management.
- Providing productivity and status input to Monthly Business Reviews and Metric Collection.
- Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years experience.
- Experience with logistics, production control, or program planning.
- Active and transferrable final U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date with the ability to obtain program access after start. US citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
- Familiarity with management of program support, subcontractor oversight, and customer relationships.
- Experience with Estimates at Completion (EAC) process.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with ability to multi-task.
- Raytheon EV certification.
- Program Management Level 6 certification.
- An advanced degree may account for additional years of experience as required for this position.
