What You Will DoAs an Ordnance Assessment (OA) Engineer, you will lead and support the execution of testing and analysis efforts for a combined surveillance and shelf-life assessment program.
- Perform missile-level accelerated aging (environmental exposure)
- Execute missile and lower-level teardown inspections.
- Develop energetic item accelerated aging and test plans.
- Coordinate accelerated aging and testing of energetic and mechanical components at designated test facilities.
- Develop assessment reports and present results at customer reviews.
- Review and approve the accuracy, quality and scope of the OA team’s work products.
- Degree in STEM and minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
- Experience with weapons inspections, hardware testing, and/or hardware integration.
- U.S. citizenship required; active transferable security clearance required.
- Experience with weapons loading in accordance with Military specifications.
- Experience with root cause or failure analysis.
- Experience with statistical analysis techniques.
- Project management experience.
- Understanding of environmental effects on hardware.
- Analytical approach and technical knowledge.

This position requires a security clearance. DCSA CAS handles the adjudication process.
Salary range: 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD.
