STS Technical Services is hiring A&P Mechanics to join our growing team in Tucson, Arizona. If you're a licensed technician with experience in aircraft maintenance and a passion for high-quality work, this opportunity offers long-term contract stability, overtime potential, and the chance to work on CRJ and commercial aircraft in a dynamic MRO environment.

Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot, inspect, repair, and perform maintenance on aircraft systems
• Accurately document all maintenance actions in accordance with FAA regulations
• Train and assist other technicians or contractors when needed
• Adhere to company policies and work rules while maintaining a safe and efficient environment

Job Requirements:

• Current FAA A&P License or Airframe (A) License required
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Aircraft Technician
• MRO experience preferred
• CRJ airframe experience a plus
• Military aircraft maintenance experience (Depot/Isochronal/Phase inspections) is a plus
• Familiarity with FAA documentation, parts catalogs, and maintenance manuals
• Must meet FAA Title 14 CFR Part 65 language requirements (read/write/speak English)
• High school diploma or GED required
• Must provide a complete aviation tool kit and demonstrate tool control
• Must pass a criminal background check and FAA drug and alcohol screening
• Basic computer skills required
• Willing and able to work 12-hour shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays

Essential Job Functions:

• Collaborate in a high-stress, fast-paced team environment
• Work independently with minimal supervision
• Maintain strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Physically capable of lifting up to 50 pounds, with frequent standing, walking, and climbing
• Perform aircraft maintenance in both hangar and ramp environments (FAR Part 135)
