Cullerton Group has a new opportunity for a Process Control Engineer 3. The work will be done onsite full-time in Tucson, AZ. This is a long-term position (24 months) that can lead to permanent employment with our client. Compensation is up to $48/hr + full benefits (vision, dental, health insurance, 401k, and holiday pay).
Job SummaryCullerton Group is seeking a Process Control Engineer to support manufacturing and procurement engineering activities focused on new technology development programs. This role involves working closely with engineering teams and suppliers to ensure components are designed for manufacturability, quality, and efficiency. The engineer will analyze production processes, interpret technical data, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. This position offers exposure to cross‑functional collaboration, supplier engagement, and advanced engineering programs within a manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities- Analyze production methods, workflows, and operational data to improve efficiency and performance
- Interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and technical specifications to ensure quality and reliability
- Collaborate with engineering teams and suppliers to support design for manufacturability and sourcing activities
- Support RFQ processes and follow up with suppliers on technical and commercial requirements
- Develop reports, charts, and process documentation to support decision‑making and continuous improvement
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field
- 5–7 years of experience in manufacturing, process engineering, or procurement engineering environments
- Experience working within a purchasing or supplier‑facing role in manufacturing
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and 3D CAD models
- Knowledge of APQP and PPAP processes
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality systems, and engineering disciplines
- Experience with supplier relationship management and cross‑functional collaboration
- Experience with CAD tools or technical software related to engineering analysis
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a team‑based environment
