Digital Design Engineer (Contract)

We are seeking an Electrical Engineer with digital electronics design and analysis skills to join our SOC client team. This is a contract opportunity located onsite in Tucson, AZ. The contract length is 12 months.

Candidates must have an Active Secret Clearance to be considered for this role.

• Design, analyze, simulate, test, and integrate digital electronic modules and/or CCAs for missile applications.
• Perform all aspects of circuit card design, including hardware designs with processors, FPGAs, memory, and industry interfaces such as PCIe, Ethernet, I2C, SPI, and UART.
• Work collaboratively within a team environment.

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering (or related degrees in Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology).
• Minimum of 2 years of engineering digital circuit design experience.
• Experience in the development and design of electronic circuit designs, multi-assembly system/unit design, and processor designs is a plus.
• A valid U.S. security clearance prior to the start date. U.S. citizenship is required for security clearance eligibility.
• Ability to attain Special Program Access (SAP).

• Experience taking a design concept from block diagram or requirements level to complete hardware design, verification via test, and integration.
• Experience with PCB design process and expertise in schematic capture, analysis, and simulation tools prior to hardware execution.
• Experience using Mentor Graphics Design Creation (Siemens EDA) tools:
  DxDesigner, xDX Designer VX, and Expedition.
• Experience using Mentor Graphics (Siemens EDA) PCB electronic circuit design software:
  Hyper Lynx signal integrity, power integrity, analog simulation, and Xpedition Enterprise (xPCB).

Successful completion of a background investigation and drug urinalysis is required.
