The Hardware Electrical Engineering team is responsible for the design, validation, qualification, and production of digital electronic circuit cards and electronic units in a variety of harsh environments.
What You Will Do- The Electrical Engineer is responsible for the design, analysis, simulation, test, integration or troubleshooting of digital electronic modules and/or CCAs for missile applications.
- Collaborate with other engineering disciplines, Operations, Supply Chain, and Quality stakeholders to ensure design integrity and compliance with requirements.
- Qualified candidates must be experienced in all aspects of circuit card design including hardware designs with processors, FPGAs, memory, and industry interfaces such as PCIe, Ethernet, I2C, SPI, and UART.
- Travel requirements: less than 10% annually.
- Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience.
- Minimum of 2 years of engineering digital circuit design experience.
- Experience in taking a design concept from the block diagram or requirements level to development of a complete hardware design, and verification via test and integration or taking existing design and analyzing functionality and troubleshooting failures.
- Knowledge of digital electronics simulation and analysis tools as well as test equipment to validate hardware performance.
- Experience in working with sub‑tier suppliers and resolving technical and/or production issues.
- Technical writing and formal presentation experience.
- Knowledge of aerospace and defense product development lifecycle.
