SummaryWe are seeking a
Senior Systems Engineer – Testing
to support system-level validation and integration activities. This role will collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to identify hardware and software vulnerabilities, develop robust test methodologies, and ensure product performance and reliability. The ideal candidate will have strong hands‑on testing experience, expertise in data analysis, and a background in regulated environments.
- Partner with systems engineering teams to identify hardware and software vulnerabilities
- Develop and implement test methods (TMV) and validation strategies using Design of Experiments (DoE)
- Design and build test beds/test setups
for system‑level and integration testing - Execute hands‑on testing protocols and support integration activities
- Analyze digital sensor outputs and experimental data using Python or similar tools
- Troubleshoot and perform root cause analysis on system‑level issues
- Develop comprehensive test plans
, protocols, and validation strategies - Author detailed technical reports and ensure proper documentation
- Manage the defect lifecycle (tracking, documentation, and communication with development teams)
- Collaborate cross‑functionally to improve system performance and reliability
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Biomedical, Chemical, Software Engineering
, or related field - 8+ years of experience in systems testing, validation, or integration
- Test Method Development (TMV)
- Design of Experiments (DoE)
- Data analysis (
Python preferred
) - Sensor data acquisition and analysis
- Proven troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills
- Experience with test plans, protocols, and technical documentation
- Experience in FDA or FAA regulated environments
- Prior experience in the medical device industry
- Familiarity with defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA)
- Experience with system integration and validation
