Role Overview

BEPC is actively seeking a motivated and hands‑on Associate Systems Engineer to support our client in Tucson, AZ. This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates or early‑career engineers looking to build experience in systems engineering, medical devices, and electro‑mechanical product development.

The selected candidate will support the design, development, testing, validation, and implementation of complex electro‑mechanical systems and products. This role offers exposure to both lab‑based testing and cross‑functional engineering collaboration in a highly regulated environment.

The ideal candidate is curious, eager to learn, technically driven, and comfortable working on projects that involve system integration, troubleshooting, validation activities, and technical documentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the design, development, integration, and testing of electro‑mechanical systems and devices.
  • Participate in design reviews, technical discussions, and engineering team activities.
  • Assist with validation, verification, reliability testing, and troubleshooting activities.
  • Analyze testing results and help identify root causes and engineering solutions.
  • Contribute to product and system documentation, reports, and technical records.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional engineering teams on system‑level projects and product development activities.
  • Follow established engineering processes, quality standards, and company procedures.
  • Monitor work quality and support “Quality First Time” initiatives.
  • Assist with manufacturing process improvements and issue resolution efforts.
  • Support development activities involving mechanical, electrical, and integrated system components.
  • Present findings, data, and updates within the engineering team.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications

Required Qualifications
  • 1–3 years of engineering experience or relevant internships/co‑op experience.
  • Recent graduates are strongly encouraged to apply.

  • Experience contributing to engineering projects from testing through product definition.
  • Strong communication and documentation skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team‑oriented environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Systems Engineering degree preferred but not required.
  • Experience or exposure to electro‑mechanical devices or medical devices.
  • Familiarity with regulated environments and quality‑focused engineering processes.
  • Exposure to integrated systems/products involving mechanical and electrical components.
  • Candidates willing to relocate to Tucson, AZ are encouraged to apply.
