Electrical Engineer - P3; MAT Ramp

Job Description

This position is 100% onsite in Tucson, Arizona. The onsite role in Tucson supports the full lifecycle of test system development. The engineer works hands‑on with modern tools and technologies to design, integrate, and troubleshoot test solutions used across both engineering labs and production environments. The position contributes to all phases of test product development while maintaining technical, cost, and schedule commitments, resolving issues independently or within cross‑functional teams.

• Design and integrate test system hardware, interface assemblies, and associated components.
• Develop engineering and production test solutions, including cabling, schematics, and circuit analysis.
• Support all phases of test product development while managing technical, cost, and schedule requirements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues throughout test system implementation and deployment.
• Collaborate within multidisciplinary teams to deliver reliable, production‑ready test products.

• Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of five (5) years of prior relevant experience OR an Advanced degree and three (3) years of relevant experience.
• Experience with factory/laboratory test instrumentation, electronics (e.g., oscilloscopes, power supplies, digital multimeters, network analyzers, etc.).
• Ability to read drawings/schematics and troubleshoot hardware and test equipment instrumentation in Factory Test Platform solutions.
• System design:
  Experience performing analog, digital, and/or RF designs at subsystem or system level.
• Experience with commonly used electrical engineering design and analysis tools including but not limited to:
  Creo Schematic, Mentor Capital, Altium, DX Designer.
• Basic or introductory knowledge of common software languages (C/C++/C#) to a level of reading/following code for EEs.
• Knowledge of computer hardware interface and data protocols such as TCP/IP, UDP, RS-422, Ethernet, SPI, CAN, etc.
• Software experience controlling test instrumentation via LabVIEW, SCPI commands, or similar.
• Experience designing/integrating full engineering and production test systems (analog, digital, mixed signal, RF), test interface adapters, interconnect drawings, mixed‑signal cabling, technical drawing creation, schematic creation, circuit design and analysis.

• Work with cross‑functional team to coordinate electrical engineer design or integration tasking.
