Position:
Senior Systems Engineer – Modeling, Simulation & Analysis (Onsite, Tucson, AZ). This role participates in multi‑disciplinary work with Guidance, Navigation & Control, Signal Processing, and missile‑sensor performance simulations.
- Create high‑fidelity simulations and models for missile design, performance assessment, and flight test support.
- Develop and implement modeling solutions, and conduct trade studies and evaluations of system and subsystem performance.
- Work in a team environment, receiving input from supervisors and providing guidance to other team members.
- Collaborate with GNC, Signal Processing, and other performance personnel to perform simulation activities aligned with program schedules.
- Develop approaches and solutions across projects, providing development guidance from concept through fielded product.
- Provide technical expertise for simulation products of a specific program and assist senior modeling engineers in preparing detailed plans, interacting with government counterparts as needed.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Physics, Mathematics, or related STEM discipline and a minimum of 5years of relevant experience.
- Experience applying object‑oriented software design and programming in C or C++.
- Experience using Python or MATLAB for evaluating data sets.
- Experience modeling or simulating physical systems, and in modeling, simulation, statistics, and/or analysis for engineering solutions.
- Ability to obtain an interim Secret U.S. government‑issued security clearance prior to start date.
- U.S. citizenship (only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance).
- Advanced degree in Engineering, Science, Mathematics, or related STEM discipline.
- Experience with applied systems engineering principles and teamwork across multiple disciplines.
- Experience presenting technical briefings.
- Experience developing signal processing/GNC algorithms or models for missile applications.
- Experience with control hardware design/test and/or hardware/software integration.
- Experience modeling physics or flight dynamics.
- Experience with UNIX/Linux workstations and software configuration management tools such as Git.
- Coursework or experience in radar, signal & image processing, radar/EO/IR environment models, digital communications, probability & statistics, linear algebra, estimation theory, optimal control, system architecture, inertial navigation, guidance theory.

Salary range: $86,800 – $165,200. Benefits are commensurate with position and may be adjusted for location, collective bargaining agreements, or business needs.
