Responsibilities
  • Champion novel solutions for advanced modeling techniques.
  • Develop new C++ models in an extensible and maintainable fashion.
  • Deploy Radio Frequency (RF) phenomenology and advanced physics concepts in software implementation.
  • Enable customer success through adoption and utilization of modeling solutions.
  • Work efficiently inside an established software product across programming languages and technical environments.
  • Research and develop novel RF modeling solutions.
  • Coordinate with multiple development teams to prioritize and solve complex software and physics problems.
  • Mentor and share RF expertise with the team.
Qualifications
  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Physics, Mathematics, or a related STEM degree.
  • Minimum 5 years of prior relevant experience.
  • Experience applying object‑oriented software design and programming in C or C++.
  • Experience using Python or MATLAB for evaluation of data sets.
  • Experience with UNIX / Linux, Apple OS, or Windows DOS command line.
  • Experience in radar processing, imaging RF systems, energy transport, radar physics, signal processing, and/or discrimination algorithms.
  • Ability to obtain an Interim Secret U.S. government–issued Security Clearance prior to start date with the ability to obtain special program access after start.
  • U.S. citizenship is required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with OpenGL, CUDA, or other GPU‑accelerated languages/architectures and Scene Generation/Sensor Modeling technologies.
  • Experience with electronic warfare modeling, developing signal processing algorithms for missile applications, signal & image processing, digital communications, or estimation theory, or AI/ML and training techniques.
  • Experience with real‑time programming, software change management tools and processes, using and augmenting build systems (Make / CMake), and working with large production software environments.
  • Experience interfacing with adjacent engineering disciplines (Signal Processing, Systems Engineering, Hardware Engineering).
  • Advanced degree in Engineering, Science, Mathematics, or related STEM degree.
