Position
Production Test Engineer (PTE) – Onsite – US Citizen with Secret clearance.
Security ClearanceAn active, transferable, DoD Secret clearance is required prior to start date.
Responsibilities- Support the test process through product development, transition to production, sustained production, and depot activities.
- Validate and insure compliance of hardware with technical data package requirements.
- Perform troubleshooting and problem‑solving of test failures.
- Identify opportunities to improve test efficiency, yields, and capacity.
- Provide accurate rework instructions for product hardware.
- Maintain spares and test equipment obsolescence plan.
- Create Basis of Estimates (BOE) to estimate costs for capacity, capability, and equipment obsolescence.
- Lead projects to reduce test time and improve process through predictive metrics analysis.
- Develop test flows and contribute to capacity analysis.
- Maintain changes to the test equipment technical data package, including drawings, test instructions, manuals, and system software.
- Assist in fault isolation, diagnosis, and repair of hardware or test equipment.
- Lead root‑cause and corrective action investigations, presenting findings using fault trees and knowledge points.
- Perform risk assessments and support program risk register reviews.
- Execute projects and multitask in a fast‑paced environment.
- Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
- Experience with electrical/electronic testing.
- Ability to obtain and maintain an ATF (Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives) access.
- Experience with hands‑on hardware integration and troubleshooting.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to develop sustaining solutions to routine technical problems.
- Experience with data analysis.

Annual salary range: $68,900 – $131,100 USD.
