Electrical Engineer – Drone / Missile Application
Location:
Tucson, AZ. Onsite; 9/80 schedule. Travel: < 10% annually. U.S. citizenship required for a Secret security clearance that must be obtained prior to start.
- Design, analyze, simulate, test, integrate, and troubleshoot digital electronic modules and CCAs for missile applications.
- Collaborate with engineering disciplines, operations, supply chain, and quality to ensure design integrity and compliance.
- Perform hardware design using processors, FPGAs, memory, and industry interfaces such as PCIe, Ethernet, I2C, SPI, and UART.
- Take design concepts from block diagram or requirements level to complete hardware design, verify via test and integration.
- Analyze functionality and troubleshoot failures of existing designs.
- Use digital simulation/analysis tools and test equipment to validate hardware performance.
- Work with sub‑tier suppliers to resolve technical and production issues.
- Document and present technical findings to stakeholders.
- Degree in STEM and a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
- Minimum 2 years of engineering digital circuit design experience.
- Experience with hardware design, simulation, verification, and troubleshooting.
- Proficiency with digital electronics simulation/analysis tools.
- Knowledge of aerospace and defense product development lifecycle.
- Experience working with sub‑tier suppliers.
- Strong technical writing and presentation skills.
- Experience advancing design from concept to production and verifying through test integration.
- Salary range: $68,900 – $131,100 USD.
