Electrical Engineer – Drone / Missile Application

Location:

Tucson, AZ. Onsite; 9/80 schedule. Travel: < 10% annually. U.S. citizenship required for a Secret security clearance that must be obtained prior to start.

• Design, analyze, simulate, test, integrate, and troubleshoot digital electronic modules and CCAs for missile applications.
• Collaborate with engineering disciplines, operations, supply chain, and quality to ensure design integrity and compliance.
• Perform hardware design using processors, FPGAs, memory, and industry interfaces such as PCIe, Ethernet, I2C, SPI, and UART.
• Take design concepts from block diagram or requirements level to complete hardware design, verify via test and integration.
• Analyze functionality and troubleshoot failures of existing designs.
• Use digital simulation/analysis tools and test equipment to validate hardware performance.
• Work with sub‑tier suppliers to resolve technical and production issues.
• Document and present technical findings to stakeholders.

• Degree in STEM and a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
• Minimum 2 years of engineering digital circuit design experience.
• Experience with hardware design, simulation, verification, and troubleshooting.
• Proficiency with digital electronics simulation/analysis tools.
• Knowledge of aerospace and defense product development lifecycle.
• Experience working with sub‑tier suppliers.
• Strong technical writing and presentation skills.

• Experience advancing design from concept to production and verifying through test integration.

• Salary range: $68,900 – $131,100 USD.
