- Lead all lab and field test event efforts, including preparation, execution, data collection/analysis, and report generation.
- Conduct root cause and corrective action analyses and present findings to leadership and stakeholders.
- Serve as technical authority for an integrated system involving electrical and mechanical subsystems; support system integration and troubleshooting.
- Coordinate the factory and supplier support for product integration, updates for obsolescence, and testing procedures.
- Manage test readiness activities to ensure equipment, configurations, and processes align with program schedules and requirements.
- Own and manage telemetry test equipment lifecycle activities: repairs, utilization tracking, replacement planning, and testing.
- Coordinate compliance activities with Cyber Security to ensure test equipment meets program requirements.
- Implement and manage software upgrades for telemetry tools and associated test systems.
- Interpret and work from test equipment engineering drawings to support integration and troubleshooting activities.
- Provide hands‑on support during lab and field test events, including acceptance test planning and execution.
- Interpret and analyze telemetry data; clearly communicate results to engineering teams, REAs, and customers.
- Read and understand Unit Under Test (UUT) engineering drawings and requirements to ensure proper telemetry configuration and verification alignment.
- Proactively coordinate cross‑functionally to ensure hardware availability, software builds, and lab readiness for integration and test events.
- Maintain organized documentation of equipment status, telemetry configurations, test data, and formal test reports.
- Support customer coordination activities, including equipment shipment and test planning alignment.
- Utilize configuration/data management tools (e.g., cPDM) to maintain traceability and documentation control.
- Travel required (20%).
- This position requires on‑site work; remote work is not available.
- Must Have – Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Computer, Mechanical, Software, Aerospace Engineering, Physics, or Math (STEM) and a minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience.
- Experience working with telemetry data and interpreting engineering drawings and system requirements.
- Hardware Systems Integration experience and Platform Integration/Flight Test experience.
- Experience troubleshooting and failure analysis; familiarity with Verification and Validation methods.
- Experience managing and presenting technical data to stakeholders and customers in design reviews and technical interchange meetings.
- Experience using Agile framework development methods/processes.
- Strong problem‑solving skills, including reliability/failure analysis and development of technical white papers.
- Experience in electronics packaging design and integration.
- Preferred – Hands‑on experience with missile systems/host platforms, telemetry and test equipment integration in lab/field environments, and telemetry data analysis tools.
- Experience leading a team in planning, executing, and reporting on test activities within a laboratory environment.
- Advanced knowledge of troubleshooting and failure analysis processes.
- Experience with integration of test equipment, telemetry data analysis tools, and missile systems host platforms.
- Experience managing and presenting technical data to stakeholders and customers in design reviews and technical interchange meetings.
- Salary range: $86,800 – $165,200 USD.
