OverviewProvide electrical systems engineering for Advanced Effector Guidance Systems (AEGS) within Raytheon Hardware Engineering. Focus on architecture, requirements, integration, and test of RF/Radar, navigation, data link, digital, and power technologies across the Raytheon portfolio.
Responsibilities- Lead digital design efforts for development guidance systems.
- Accountable for program execution, including cost, schedule, and technical oversight throughout the early development lifecycle.
- Support component‑level design and test reviews.
- Collaborate with functional and program higher‑level management, customers, and suppliers.
- Mentor peers and participate in peer‑review processes.
- Guide a team through several phases of the hardware systems lifecycle—design, analysis, architecture, subsystem requirements, test plans, peer reviews, presentations to management and government customers, and root‑cause failure investigations.
- May include Control Account Management (CAM) responsibilities;
Earned Value (EV) certification preferred. - Travel up to 25% of the time.
- Bachelor’s degree in STEM and a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.
- Experience in analog, digital, and power electronics design, integration, and production support.
- Ability to decompose high‑level requirements into actionable design and subsystem architecture.
- Expertise in digital subsystem architecture, requirements development, validation, CCA (Circuit Card Assembly) design, digital test integration, and/or digital supplier management for an effector‑based product.
- Strong electrical engineering skills, including troubleshooting digital/analog hardware and testing complex circuit card assemblies.
- Proficiency with digital design tools for CCA schematic capture, interconnect capture, and harness design.
- Prior technical leadership experience on a complex subsystem during Engineering, Manufacturing, and Development (EMD) phases.
- Advanced degree or systems‑engineering thought process with analytical skills preferred.
- Background in designing and troubleshooting antennas, analog RF cards, digital circuit cards, and configurable logic.
- Experience leading large, complex trade studies and integrating conceptual designs into a system of systems.
- Experience working with missiles or similar systems.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities; strong interpersonal skills.
- Salary range: USD 132,400 – 251,600.
