Life Cycle Engineering is seeking a Systems Sustainment Engineer based out of Tucson, Arizona.
What You Will Do- Synchronize depot functions – receiving/induction, spares provisioning, repairs, plant clearance, sales, and shipping.
- Provide sustainment engineering support for developmental and legacy programs to achieve long-term product sustainment strategies and planning.
- Act as liaison with all engineering disciplines (Systems, Electrical, Mechanical, Test, Materials, Processes, Structural design).
- Assist with supportability analyses and provide inventory recommendations, including spares, excess scrap, parts and material substitutions.
- Collaborate across factory and logistics teams to resolve shipping backlogs.
- Coordinate with Depot Coordinator and Operations to facilitate factory hardware repair work.
- Engage in peer reviews, program reviews, design reviews, failure review boards, investigation teams, warranty claims and working groups.
Required
- University degree or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience (or advanced degree with minimum 3 years).
- Experience with depot functions and/or logistics.
- Active, transferrable U.S. government issued security clearance required prior to start date.
- U.S. citizenship required.
Preferred
- Experience with PRISM.
- Understanding of depot hardware handling and transportation requirements.
- Familiarity with factory operations, procedures and depot flow activities.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Knowledge of ILS processes, sustainment and supportability principles and concepts.
Salary range: $86,800 – $165,200 USD.
