Mechanical Engineer
Position located at 800 E Hermans Rd, Tucson, AZ (US-AZ-TUCSON-800), U.S. based. The role is onsite and requires U.S. citizenship and a transferable DoD Secret clearance.
Responsibilities- Perform mechanical design, structural and thermal analysis, and design documentation for hardware systems.
- Collaborate with a dynamic team to support product development, including part and drawing creation, release, and incorporation of drawing changes.
- Apply mechanical engineering expertise to creatively solve complex design challenges efficiently, making sound, data‑driven, and technical decisions.
- Provide support to factory, field, production, and suppliers both domestically and internationally.
- Collaborate with mechanical engineers, designers, structural and thermal analysts, and engineers from other disciplines.
- Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related STEM field.
- Experience using Computer Aided Design (CAD) software such as Creo or equivalent.
- Prior engineering project experience or internship demonstrating practical application of engineering principles.
- Experience with Product Data Management (PDM).
- Experience with electronics packaging, radar antenna design, aerospace engineering, or precision systems.
- Experience applying standard mechanical engineering design processes and adapting workflows for project requirements.
- Experience collaborating within a team to achieve project objectives.
68,900 USD – 131,100 USD per year, based on experience and qualification.
