Sr. Manufacturing Supplier Quality Engineer

What You Will Do

• Utilize analytical capabilities and communication skills to lead rapid resolution of supplier‑caused issues impacting the factory, working with other quality functions and cross‑functional teams.
• Represent supplier assurance as the onsite interface to Raytheon factories supporting factory tier meetings, layered process assessments, and nonconforming material reviews.
• Analyze supplied material non‑conformance metrics and develop action plans to address top and systemic drivers.
• Investigate issues with supplied material ensuring accuracy of defect documentation, robust root‑cause analysis, and corrective solutions are fully implemented.
• Assist with quarantine, containment and screening of suspect defective supplied hardware.
• Work projects to achieve continuous improvement goals.

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM).
• Minimum of eight (8) years of experience in related Quality, Operations, Engineering or related technical discipline.
• Experience with Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) tools and processes.
• Experience with ISO 9001 and/or AS9100 Quality Management System.
• Experience with hardware inspection techniques and interpreting engineering drawings.
• The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government‑issued security clearance prior to start date; U.S. citizenship is required for clearance.

• Proven success in building and maintaining relationships with suppliers, customers, and internal teams.
• Experience in DoD product and process oversight including requirements, build, integration, test and delivery.
• High computer proficiency, including skills working with SAP/PRISM and Microsoft Tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Six Sigma, Lean and/or American Society for Quality (ASQ) certification (CQE, CQM/OE, CSQE, CQA, CRE, etc.).

• Salary range USD 107,500 – 204,500.
