Manufacturing Planner II
Location:
Tucson, Arizona. This onsite role requires active participation in the design, acquisition, and manufacturing of complex test equipment.
- Actively contribute to design, acquisition, and manufacturing of complex test equipment, including cables, chassis, and electro/mechanical fixtures.
- Participate in engineering design reviews.
- Manage and maintain build configuration and quality history records.
- Acquire, track, and manage material from procurement through final delivery of completed test sets.
- Assist in resolving manufacturing issues and oversee delivery of final products to internal and external customers.
- Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM).
- Minimum of two (2) years of engineering experience interpreting drawings related to electrical instrumentation, assemblies, cables, chassis, and electro‑mechanical assemblies.
- Experience working in a manufacturing or engineering lab environment.
- Experience with material procurement.
- U.S. citizenship required. Active and transferable U.S. government–issued security clearance (Secret level) required prior to start date.
- Ability to obtain Interim Secret clearance.
- Previous experience with test equipment or prototype engineering hardware (preferred).
- Experience maintaining configuration control of products and drawings (preferred).
- Experience interfacing directly with customers in an engineering/manufacturing environment (preferred).
- Experience with the design, use, and fabrication of electrical instrumentation (preferred).
- Experience dealing with supply chain and material obsolescence issues (preferred).
U.S. citizenship is required. An active and transferable U.S. government–issued security clearance, level Secret, must be obtained prior to the start date. Interim Secret clearance may also be required during the hiring process.
Compensation & BenefitsSalary range: $68,900–$131,100 per year.
