Responsibilities
- Enhance electrical engineering skills working with digital, analog and/or RF hardware testing and debugging complex circuit card assemblies or electro‑mechanical systems.
- Prior hands‑on troubleshooting experience is preferred.
- Collaborate and coordinate with Operations, Supply Chain, Quality and other Engineering disciplines to achieve/document concurrence and resolve issues that may arise during production, testing and integration.
- Shift: 3rd Shift (Monday – Friday 11pm – 8am).
- Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience or an advanced degree in a related field.
- Experience with RF, analog, digital, and/or mixed signal circuit design or analysis and/or digital signal processing.
- Experience with laboratory equipment including waveform generators, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers and/or network analyzers.
- Experience with root‑cause corrective action investigations.
- Experience performing electrical engineering design of CCA, EO, RF, seeker/sensor or electronic subsystem, including circuit design, CCA assembly, electrical test and production/supplier support of test equipment, test automation scripting, test conduction, sensor control, printed circuit board fabrication and circuit card assembly processes.
- Experience with tools such as Mentor Graphics Designer, PSPICE, System Vision, MATLAB, Mathcad, IDL, Computer Simulation Technologies (CST), Microwave Design Studio, High Frequency Structure Simulator (HFSS), Advanced Design System (ADS), signal generator, oscilloscope and spectrum analyzer.
- Familiarity with missile communication transceivers and data links, inertial measurement units (IMU) and Global Positioning System (GPS) receiver subsystems.
- Experience with subsystems integration and test, post‑test flight analysis, problem investigation, Statistical Process Control (SPC) methods, technical writing, formal presentation and implementing Engineering Change Notices.
- Self‑starter capable of working independently and with a small technical team.
- Willingness to travel less than 10% annually.
