- Verify product and process compliance with contractual, technical, industry, AS9100 QMS requirements and internal policies.
- Develop strong working relationships with touch labor, factory leadership, program leadership, and DCMA.
- Perform regular data analysis; develop and use action metrics; generate and publish Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ) metrics.
- Facilitate and lead cross‑functional team in failure analysis, Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA) investigations; identify non‑conformances, provide solutions, track issues to closure, and lead Corrective Action Boards (CAB).
- Ensure identification, physical control, and disposition of non‑conforming material and facilitate Material Review Board (MRB) when necessary.
- Support work instruction development and maintenance by reviewing work instructions, test instructions, auditing processes, and assuring configuration management.
- Develop and maintain inspection instructions; ensure inspection instructions meet technical data package requirements and production needs.
- Develop and release First Article Inspections (FAIs) in accordance with AS9102.
- Regularly interface with DCMA and internal stakeholders to manage issues.
- Conduct weekly meetings to reduce cost of poor quality and facilitate timely red rack dispositions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM).
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in quality, operations, engineering, or related technical discipline.
- Experience interpreting engineering drawings, work instructions, BOMs, consumable material control, and manufacturing processes in assembly, inspection, or test.
- Experience with AS9100 and/or ISO 9001 quality management systems.
- Ability to obtain and maintain an ATF clearance prior to start date.
- Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance (DoD Secret) required prior to start; U.S. citizenship required.
- Competency and experience in a relevant technical discipline with understanding of engineering principles and design analysis techniques.
- Experience leading cross‑functional teams in auditing processes and product/process improvements in the factory or at suppliers.
- Experience in Product/Process Failure Modes & Effects Analysis and regression analysis.
- Experience with AS9102 First Article Inspection requirements.
- Experience with AS9145 – Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) and Production Part Approval Process (PPAP).
- High proficiency in Microsoft tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio).
- ASQ certifications preferred.
Salary Range: 86,800 USD – 165,200 USD.
