Electrical Engineer II

Design Engineer – 100% onsite in Tucson, AZ. You will support and drive the design, development, integration, and maintenance of electronics for factory test systems that provide critical support for weapon system product development and delivery.

• Prioritize and manage multiple engineering tasks concurrently.
• Develop engineering and production test systems, including test interface adapters, cabling, technical drawings, schematics, and circuit design.
• Troubleshoot hardware and test equipment instrumentation in Factory Test Platform solutions.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Operations PTEs, and program personnel to support factory readiness and robustness.
• Support development and derivation of requirements for hardware and electrical products.

• Experience with electrical engineering design, troubleshooting, analysis, and test.
• Proficiency using schematic capture tools and interpreting schematics.
• U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government‑issued security clearance.

• Experience with electrical engineering design and analysis tools such as Altium, DX Designer, Mentor, Creo Schematic.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience and a STEM degree.
• Experience with factory/laboratory test instrumentation and electronics (oscilloscopes, power supplies, multimeters).
• Experience developing Production Test Equipment in an automation environment.
• Knowledge of computer architecture and hardware optimization techniques.
• Experience with computer hardware interfaces and data protocols (TCP/IP, UDP, RS‑422).
• Experience in analog, digital, or RF design.
• Experience designing, testing, and integrating digital, mixed‑signal, and electrical system interconnects.
• Experience with integrated development environments and debugging tools for software troubleshooting.
• Understanding of the TEE One Page Process.
• Self‑starter with the ability to meet deadlines.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Azure Dev Ops Server or Git Hub.
• Strong written and interpersonal communication skills.

Compensation ranges from USD 68,900 to USD 131,100.
