Job Summary
Senior Electrical Engineer with at least 5 years of professional experience, responsible for designing and integrating test solutions for all Raytheon products. Position located in Tucson, Arizona; 100% onsite. Candidates must hold an active U.S. government issued security clearance (Secret) and U.S. citizenship.
Responsibilities- Design, develop, and integrate test products within multidiscipline engineering teams.
- Develop engineering and production test systems, interface adapters, cabling, technical drawings, schematic creation, and circuit design and analysis.
- Contribute to all stages of test product development and perform technical, cost, and schedule management of assigned projects.
- Act independently or as part of a team to uncover and resolve issues associated with the development and implementation of test products.
- Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of five years of prior relevant experience, or an advanced degree and three years of relevant experience.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance.
- Experience with electrical engineering design, troubleshooting, analysis, and test.
- Experience with electrical design and analysis tools such as Altium, DX Designer, Mentor Capital, Creo Schematic.
- Experience with test equipment such as oscilloscopes, DMMs, network analyzers, power meters.
- Experience using schematic capture tools and interpreting schematics.
- Master of Science in STEM; ABET accreditation preferred.
- Ability to provide technical leadership in a multidiscipline team environment.
- Experience performing analog, digital, and/or RF design.
- Experience designing, testing, and integrating digital, mixed signal, and electrical system interconnect.
- Experience with integrated development environments and debugging tools to troubleshoot software.
- Self‑starter capable of managing workload to meet deadlines.
- Experience working in a team environment.
- Proficient technical writing and formal presentation skills.
- Leadership experience of single- or multi‑discipline engineering teams.
- Project management, bid and proposal, computer architecture knowledge, programming language implementation, troubleshooting, and root‑cause analysis.
