Radar Cross Section (RCS) Range Radar Operator

Location:

Tucson, AZ (Onsite). Security clearance:
Secret (Active, existing on day
1). Eligible candidates: U.S. Citizen or U.S. Person with active transferable security clearance.

Salary range: $107,500 – $204,500 USD.

• Operate instrumentation radar during collection of RCS measurements.
• Calibrate radar system.
• Conduct regular health and quality testing of the radar system and subsystems.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues in the radar system.
• Annual review of the Range Book and update as required.
• Ensure data quality and integrity.
• Support target configuration and test set‑up.

• Must have:
  Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 8 years of relevant experience, OR Advanced Degree in related field and minimum 5 years experience.
• Experience in calibration, maintenance and characterization of RF equipment for far field RCS measurements.
• Experience supporting RCS measurement testing.
• Understanding of radar system operation.
• Test asset configuration and mounting.
• Test plan generation.
• Secret security clearance.
