Position:
Field Test Engineer Lead (Coyote program)
Role type:
Hybrid. U.S. Citizen or U.S. Person required. U.S. citizenship required for security clearance. Security Clearance Type:
Secret. Active and transferable U.S. government-issued clearance required on day 1.
- Lead a small team and support operation and maintenance activities of the Coyote UAS weapon platform.
- Collaborate with multiple program leads to ensure alignment within the Testing team.
- Travel approximately 50% of the time (80% CONUS, 20% OCONUS) for off-site customer locations.
- Perform Coyote assembly, overhaul, repair, modification, operation, troubleshooting and maintenance.
- Assist in planning, perform data analysis, and support system integration and testing.
- Receive technical guidance and tasking; ensure compliance with accepted practices.
- Manage front-line responsibilities: expense reports, performance reviews/development, hiring input, time-card approval and policy compliance.
- Move or lift equipment up to 49lb using proper lifting techniques or equipment.
- Bachelor’s degree with minimum 5years relevant experience or advanced degree with minimum 2years experience.
- Active and transferable U.S. government-issued Secret security clearance (or ability to obtain before start).
- U.S. citizenship (required for clearance).
- Experience repairing military sensors or radar systems.
- Experience repairing military UAS systems.
- Depot support maintenance on electronics or radar.
- Proficiency with tools and test equipment used in electronic installation, maintenance, and test.
- Documented training on Coyote/M‑LIDS.
- Preferred: graduate of US military UAS technical school, knowledge of military protocol, COLTS Logistics Database certification.
- Excellent technical writing, oral communication, and negotiation skills.
- Self‑starter capable of aligning priorities and working independently.
Salary range: 86,800
USD – 165,200
USD, based on experience.
